Today at Big Marsh in Butler Co.  The water is very low.  Scatterings of
waterfowl but many White-fronted geese and some snows.  Most waterfowl is
in the interior.  At the south concrete boat ramp follow the road east
through the pines.  The road on the dikes loops back to the boat ramp.  A
nice about 2 hour walk.  Some highlights:
Snipe FOY
Woodcock
Rusty Blackbirds 12
Harrier 
large snapping turtle
No sandhills or pintail

Yesterday at Sweet Marsh:
Sandhill crane - 9, just arrived this week
Trumpter swans - pair
Yellowlegs - 4
Blandings turtle
Leopard frogs crossing the road 
Most waterfowl on the lake - many white-fronted, some snows and a few
Ross's geese
