Karen Disbrow and the Iowa City Bird Club are hosting the IOU spring meeting in Iowa City May 18 - 20. The field trips and line up of speakers look great. This will be much more than a meeting -it will be an event - something for everyone - a birding opportunity you do not want to miss.
Details and on-line registration are on the IOU website at www.iowabirds.org. If you haven't explored the redesigned IOU website - check it out. Kudos to Ann Johnson for her stellar work with the website. With trees budding, spring wildflowers appearing (yes, snow trillium are in full bloom), some are thinking warblers should be appearing any day. While it may be early for warbler migration, it is not too early to think ahead and register early for the spring meeting. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN AND ACTIVE!
