This morning a flock of SMITH'S LONGSPURS were present on the east
side of Sand Point's access road. They flew above and landed in the
winter wheat and corn stubble fields but eventually flew southeast.
They were hard to detect on the ground, especially in the corn.

Shorebird numbers at Hawkeye WA improved to about a couple hundred.
Pectoral Sandpipers, Lesser Yellowlegs, and American Golden Plovers
were the only species seen. They were far east of Sand Point, closer
to James Ave.
