...is still here and doing well. He showed up this afternoon while I was outside visiting with my neighbors (and lamenting that my entire feeder station was demolished by raccoons a couple nights ago - as in entire feeders are gone and others torn up beyond use). Hopefully, I will be up and running again soon. In the meantime, the entire neighborhood seems to be keeping the oriole well fed. :)
I found it interesting during our conversation that the neighbors commented on some of the same behaviors I had noted. Specifically, none of us have seen him going for the expected jelly or oranges. Suet seems to be his marked preference.
