...is still here and doing well.  He showed up this afternoon while I was 
outside visiting with my neighbors (and lamenting that my entire feeder station 
was demolished by raccoons a couple nights ago - as in entire feeders are gone 
and others torn up beyond use).  Hopefully, I will be up and running again 
soon.  In the meantime, the entire neighborhood seems to be keeping the oriole 
well fed. :)


I found it interesting during our conversation that the neighbors commented on 
some of the same behaviors I had noted.  Specifically, none of us have seen him 
going for the expected jelly or oranges.  Suet seems to be his marked 
preference.  


During a lovely picnic supper at Ottumwa park,  the following flew, swam, or 
waddled by our location:
Canada Goose - 25+
Great Blue Heron - 1
Grackles -- dozens

Killdeer - 1
Robin - dozens

Northern Shoveler - 17
Mallard - 9
Mourning Dove - 3

Red Winged Blackbird - 15
American Coot - 5
