Lesser Yellow Legs (I have seen together many times on the West Coast, but
this is the first time in Iowa. Greater and Lesser are much easier to
identify when they are standing side by side.)
Sand Hill Crane
American White Pelican
Both Northern Flickers (First time I have seen both on the same day, and
many are around the Mississippi backwaters)
Killdeer
American Wigeon
Wood Duck
Turkey Vulture
Red-tailed Hawk
Double Crested Cormorant
Tree Swallow
Song Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
