This afternoon I scoped a pair of MARBLED GODWITS upriver
from Sandy Beach. There's a huge mud flat in that area which
attracts shorebirds, pelicans and puddle ducks. I had to walk
the shoreline for some distance to get a closer look.
6 Franklin's and a few Bonaparte's Gulls in breeding plumage
were also in the Sandy Beach area.
