The Armstrong's and I visited Forney Lake and the "east" Keg Lake marsh
this morning. No luck on the Mottled Ducks, but we had a Snowy Egret at
the west edge of Forney. There were also 5 White-faced Ibis and 92
Franklin's Gulls there. 16 White-faced and 1 Glossy Ibis were at the
marsh on the east side of I-29 across from Keg Lake in Mills County. This
is the area described earlier by Keith Dyche north of Nellen Rd.
Shorebirds were practically nonexistent in the area today.
