We have had both male and female Purple Finches at our feeder for at least the
last three weeks.

Subject: [ia-bird] Purple Finch

I have a female Purple Finch at my feeders this morning. Haven't seen many
reports of Purple Finches this year, and a few of us recently were discussing
not having seen any since early last winter, so thought I would mention it.
Curious if there have been many sightings of Purple Finches in other parts of
the state so far this year.
