Woodbury County continues to be short of water and shorebirds seem to like some
of that.  Having given up on finding any new shorebirds I was surprised to find
a small group of in the area of the "Tannery" which is located south of Gelita
USA and north of MidAmerican Energy on Port Neal Road.   About 70 individuals
but diversity was pretty darn good.

Actually a very bird day (78 species) for a trip home from Des Moines to Sioux
City.

Can't wait for the Spring IOU meeting in Iowa City.  Warbler CITY if there ever
was one.  The habitat and field trips planned are outstanding.  Do not miss out!
