All my feeders have really gone into action starting today. Lots of Orioles, Indigo Buntings, Grosbeaks. I had an unusual Male Orchard Oriole just come in. He seems to be a full adult male, but with a bright yellow forehead. Not sure if it could be a hybrid or just a younger male holding onto the yellow. The yellow is bright. There is a photo link below to an alblum with the Orchard Oriole as the 2nd-3rd photos, if you would like to look and give an opinion. I also had a Pine Siskin show up tonight. I thought I briefly heard one while working in the garden yesterday. On Monday night A Whip-poor-will was calling in the woods behind my house. They have been there the last few summers.
