Bit of a late post, however any time i see a Red-Headed woodpecker it's
a reason to celebrate one of my favorite birds that i see only a few times a
year. So finding one in Brookside Park in Ames on Sat. 12th was awesome.
Sunday morning the 13th, I stopped at Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Story
County. Was pretty active with
Bluebirds
Baltimore Orioles
House Wrens
Bluejays
Song Sparrow
Mark Dobbe
Ames
