At Pilot Knob SP in Hancock County this morning, a few migrant songbirds were still present. These included an Alder Flycatcher, two Yellow-bellied Flycatchers, a Swainson's Thrush, a Black-and-white Warbler, and several Chestnut-sided Warblers. Local birds included two Black-billed Cuckoos, a singing Veery, three Cerulean Warblers along the road, five Ovenbirds, and six Scarlet Tanagers.

At Crystal Hills, about 500 shorebirds still line the edges of the ponds. Largest was a single Black-bellied Plover.
