Hi All,
 
I took a stroll through Heritage Park in Ankeny this morning and there has 
definitely been some turnover! Fall migration is definitely upon us, but it 
doesn't appear as though the breeding season is quite finished....
 
 
1 Cooper's Hawk
Eastern Wood-Pewee sitting on a nest
2 Vireos: Warbling & Red-eyed
Black-capped Chickadee feeding young at a nest
1 CAROLINA WREN - not only my first for the park, but my first for Polk Co!
2 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers
Gray Catbirds feeding young
7 species of warblers: Black-and White, Redstart, Magnolia, Blackburnian, 
Yellow, Chestnut-sided, & Canada
1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak
