Pam & Reid,

My daughter and son-in-law were not very far from that vicinity recently and
called me saying they had seen a pure white hawk and was there any such thing.
I have been watching the IA-BIRD network for someone to post something. So
thanks so much for the post and I will call my daughter and tell her about it.

Subject: [ia-bird] Albino Red-tailed Hawk

Hi all,

Reid and I were driving west on I-80 this morning and between mile markers 30
and 29 on the south side of I-80, what looked like to be a pure albino
Red-tailed Hawk was sitting on a fencepost along the south side of the road.

Good Birding!
