Pam & Reid, My daughter and son-in-law were not very far from that vicinity recently and called me saying they had seen a pure white hawk and was there any such thing. I have been watching the IA-BIRD network for someone to post something. So thanks so much for the post and I will call my daughter and tell her about it.
