Birders,
I took a lap around Saylorville this morning. I saw Aaron Brees this
morning, but was not with him when the Artic Tern was located.

Highlights:

SANDPIPER:
Notable movements of Northern Flickers and Blue Jays
Several large southbound flocks of American White Pelicans
Franklin's Gulls
Long-billed Dowitcher
American Golden and Black-bellied Plovers (found by Aaron)
5 Caspian Terns
Dark-eyed Junco

OAK GROVE BEACH:
5 American Pipits (Found with Jay Gilliam)

I then went with Jay to Cherry Glen to check for warblers, and we
located several Blue-headed Vireos, along with abundant Yellow-rumped
Warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets and a single Nashville Warbler.

Good birding,
John Bissell
Grimes
