With one exception, it was a rather mundane outing around the lake.  The
exception was a White-tailed Jackrabbit that flushed from a small patch of
vegetation along the beach at Oak Grove.  It's been years since I've seen
a jackrabbit in Iowa, and would never have expected one at that location.
