I ventured to Sandpiper Beach after the Sprague's Pipit trek at Errington
Marsh. Jim and Chuck Fuller were just getting ready to leave and had the
Spotted Towhee among several other sparrow species at the brush pile. I was
only able to hang around for about another 20 minutes, but did not observe the
Towhee. I think Lincoln's Sparrows were the most numerous sparrow I saw in the
relatively quiet brush pile, perhaps 18 individuals.
