Things seem to be a little slower in my yard than others have been reporting but bit by bit the wintering species are showing up. Yesterday I head some singing that I had to think about a minute. Sure enough, there were American Tree Sparrows happily flitting around in the oak tree. This morning the ground below the feeders was crawling with Pine Siskins. Bring on the redpolls!
