During an early morning excursion pursuing pheasants with Andrew Stephenson and Eric Mammoser I observed a Northern Shrike (first of season) several times along the western edge of Hendrickson Marsh near Rhodes. Good looks were had by all three of us as it moved among the shrubby habitat.
