Ray C. and I birded Lake Ratbun this a.m. Highlights were 2 Greater Yellowlegs, 12 Common Loons, 25 Kildeer, 2 Horned and 1 Eared Grebe, 45 Bonaparte's Gulls,1 Northern Shrike, and 6 Rusty Blackbirds. Ducks were not abundant but one covey of quail was seen which used to becommon when I moved here 28 year ago and now are hard to find. Tom J. -- Tom Johnson Mystic
