This afternoon, I saw the Snowy Owl first seen by Matt on Friday and again by
the Thelan's on Saturday. From 1:45 p.m. To 2:30p.m., it stayed in the same
place. From the junction of N58 and E53 (Carroll county south of Ralston), I
went south 1/2 mile and parked in a field lane on the east side of the road.
The owl was about 1/4 mile to the west southwest of this location, sitting on a
ridge. A distant confinement building was directly behind the owl.

Also, a Rough-legged Hawk was in the vicinity. It was hanging out just east
and north of the junction of N58 and E53.
