Cindy and I checked out Lake Manawa this afternoon. Lake is frozen over and 
 pretty much bare of waterfowl, except for the Canada Geese.
 
In the yard today, I had a couple of Pine Siskins and a nice male Oregon  
Junco. I don't remember ever seeing one here in the Omaha area. Are they seen 
 here often?
 
Yesterday, we had a Cooper's Hawk come through looking for lunch, but he  
was unsuccessful.
