This weekend I could have sworn I heard an American Robin flight chuckle,
in the early morning. Unfortunately we have a number of European
Starlings so I have a tendency to ignore 'hearing things' unless I see
them because I've been caught thinking we had things like Killdeer a month
early, when it fact it was a Starling. I did not see any robins, so I
can't be sure, but considering the other reports of flocks of Am. Robins
it may not be impossible that a few are lurking in the underbrush. I've
also noticed an up-tick in woodpecker activity (mainly Downy and
Red-bellied).

The redpolls continue as well, still no Hoaries.
