Granddaughter was down and had a class project of watching bird feeders, so we spent almost 3 solid hours watching. Had all common birds expected, but also saw red-breasted nuthatches, red-headed woodpecker, yellow-shafted flicker, pine siskins, afly through by a sharpshinned hawk. Had 2 great blue herons fly over the feeder area. A good day. Bob Van Ersvelde Grinnell
