Walked the brushy area west of Babcock Access this evening. In a span of two minutes my life list of Redpolls went from zero to 35. They were feeding on evening primrose while tree sparrows zipped around on the snow. They sound very like goldfinch but without the whistle quality. Also saw a pair of Killdeer.
