Was suprised to see two wading Great Blue's yesterday on the way home. They were in their usual spot in the east backwater, east of the Iowa River on the Hills Blacktop (520th). Lots of geese are also present on the open water (river).
On the 1st, also found the two flocks of Longspurs near the CR Airport. One was near the corner of Wright Bros Blvd and Tissell hollow Rd and the other was on the SE cordner of the airport, on Walford Rd, half mile West of 18th St SW; both groups had several Horned larks mixed in, did not see any Snow Buntings.
