[This report I sent last night bounced back to me...]

At Cone Marsh in Louisa County, late this afternoon the 3 MARBLED GODWITS
were still present north of 220th Street at the SW corner of the marsh, but
while I was there they took flight, circled high, and disappeared out of
sight to the northwest. Other birds at the marsh included 95 GREATER
WHITE-FRONTED GEESE in the NW corner, 15 duck species, 2 SANDHILL CRANES
(which appeared to be making whoopee), NORTHERN HARRIER, both yellowlegs,
and many snipe. A River Otter seemed perturbed by my presence on the dike.

A LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE was just east of the intersection of 220th St. and T
Ave.

In Muscatine County, the north access road to Weise Slough is inaccessible
due to high water, but south of Atalissa in flooded fields were 3 ROSS'S
GEESE, SNOW GEESE, 1 WILSON'S PHALAROPE, both yellowlegs, and many snipe.

In Cedar County at the West Branch Sewage Ponds were 1 MUTE SWAN, 1 WILSON'S
PHALAROPE, and a small assortment of ducks including RUDDY DUCK and REDHEAD.
