After last nights rain I was anticipating some good birds at Moorehead Park. This morning there were 18 species of warblers. They included late Pine and Palm Warblers. Both were females. 2 male Golden-winged Warblers, 7 Chestnut-sided Warblers, 5 Magnolia Warblers and a lone male Northern Parula. There were several late Yellow-rumps and two Orange-crowned Warblers as well. Also had my first Canada Warbler. Other birds of interest included 2 Philadelphia Vireos and the continued presence of male Red-breasted Nuthatches.
