I went to Pleasant Creek RA at lunch time today and just after turning on to McClintock Rd from Palo Marsh Rd I heard an unfamiliar song similar to a Willow Flycatcher but not quite. The bird was in a tree in the yard of a residence on the left side of the road. I pulled over and played a Willow call (in my car), then an Alder call. The Alder matched. I have had Willow Flycatchers in near the lake recently, but this was my first Alder Flycatcher.
