I went to Pleasant Creek RA at lunch time today and just after turning on
to McClintock Rd from Palo Marsh Rd I heard an unfamiliar song similar to
a Willow Flycatcher but not quite. The bird was in a tree in the yard of
a residence on the left side of the road. I pulled over and played a
Willow call (in my car), then an Alder call. The Alder matched. I have
had Willow Flycatchers in near the lake recently, but this was my first
Alder Flycatcher.

There was also loon in nonbreeding plumage between the picnic area near
the entrance and the dam.
