A Western Kingbird was at the traditional nesting site at Terra Park in Johnston this morning. They usually nest on one of the poles of the highline that crosses the bike path south of Crown Point. That seems to be the case again this year. This one carried a large bug to the inside of a support leg on the pole just west of the path. I couldn't see the nest, but am sure it's tucked in there somewhere.
