Hi everyone,
While guiding a cruise on the Mississippi River yesterday, I checked the Falcon box on the grain elevator at McGregor (across from Prairie Du Chien, WI. I believe that's Clayton County?). It had two young Falcons in it and an adult (the female I think) was perched on a platform just below them. In that same area, along the bluff south of the grain elevator, there was a singing Carolina Wren. I thought that somewhat notable for that area. --Chris -- Happy Birding! --Chris W, Madison, WI Tour Leader Swallowtail Birding Tours https://www.facebook.com/Swallowtailbirdingtours?ref=hl Interpretive Naturalist Mississippi Explorer Cruises http://mississippiexplorer.com/ [email protected] http://swallowtailedkite.blogspot.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/swallowtailphoto --- Please contribute your sightings to our list; it is only as good as members make it! --- Birding channel recommendation for FRS/GMRS radio use: Primary selection; channel 5/0 , alternate selection; channel 6/0 --- This mailing list is sponsored by the Iowa Ornithologists' Union.
