I visited Snake Creek Marsh and Dunbar Slough this morning. Both wetlands were unexciting, but my 290th/E57 route between them produced two Gray Partridges, an Upland Sandpiper and a White-tailed Jackrabbit. The jackrabbit was 1/2 mile east of Highway 25.
