Many years ago I lived in an apartment on the 2nd floor in the 100 block of Main St. in Cedar Falls. We had a vent above the bedroom that went to the top of the roof. Every summer we could hear the nighthawks making their zooming noises, all night long! It was actually quite fun to hear them!
