SPEND A FUN, FASCINATING WEEKEND learning about the cultural and natural 
history of the Iowa Great Lakes and Northwest Iowa through field trips, 
lectures and informal 
discussions with Iowa's leading naturalists and scientists - including 
an outing with MJ Hatfield! Topics/outings include entomology, "Birding 
and Bugging", Aquatic Invasive Species,and visits to archeaological 
sites and presentation of the award winning documentary "Lost Nation: 
the IOWAY". 
Sign up for all or part of the September 6 – 8 weekend. Meals are included 
and lodging is available at the rustic Lakeside Campus, a 140 acres 
narture preserve and biological field station located on the shores of 
Lake West Okoboji.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend this due to the Pelican Festival Sept 8.  
I, however have attended at least 4 of these and thoroughly enjoyed the event.
