Saw one black crowned night heron perched in a tree near a pond located about a quarter of a mile north of mile marker 38, visible from southbound I-380 lanes. Believe this is Northwest Linn County. This small pond is reliable for seeing hawks, bald eagles, herons (Great Blue), etc. especially during migration.
