Hi all,

While camping on the North Shore of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota last
Monday, my husband and I were treated to the sight of a stream (~40-50) of
nighthawks flying along the shore in early evening. However, they were heading
north. Any ideas why? Maybe just a local 'gathering up', getting ready to head
south?
