This morning I found two WESTERN SANDPIPERS in the shallows
close to the tip and east side of Sand Point. Other notables
of 12 shorebird species in the area were:
1 Wilson's Phalarope (north with the pelicans)
2 Juv. Short-billed Dowitchers
4 American Golden-Plovers (in plowed field west of Sand Point)
