"Governor Brown recently signed into law AB 711 requiring nonlead ammunition be used for all hunting throughout Californa. This law should aid in shifting the market and creating a lasting change to nonlead ammunition use, and gives greater hope for California condors. While this new law may help in the long run, it is important to realize that it won't even go into effect for another five years."
