Ed Saehler captured a hatching year female Peregrine Falcon near the University of Iowa's Macbride Nature Recreation Area Sunday afternoon. In 23 seasons of full- and part-time coverage this is only our third Peregrine captured. Two years ago we captured a HY male that had been banded in the nest two months prior in Edmonton, Alberta.
