No luck at Red Rock today with the LIGU. I did manage to leave my wife's umbrella (which I was using to hold over ppl's scopes) behind. If anyone had planned to go to Whitebreast could you pick it up for me? It is just down the hill by the lake (east of the fence at the end of the point). It is big and RED! This is the second time I have managed to leave something behind somewhere. Tom Schilke found a pair of my shoes at Pintail Wetland earlier this summer. I am on a roll!
All was not lost as I saw two of the most amazing scenes I have yet to see in Iowa. One was a giant rainbow that spanned over the middle of Red Rock.
