I spent about an hour mid-day at Red Rock Reservoir. Best bird was a 1st cycle Lesser Black-backed Gull at the North Overlook beach. There were several Horned Grebes bouncing in the chop and a fair number of Bonaparte's Gulls flying. I suspect the lingering numbers of Am. White Pelicans and Double-crested Cormorants will hang out there until freeze up. I looked in vain for a Little Gull but the best I could come home with was a nice red umbrella.
