December 15, at around 4:00 pm, had a male Northern Harrier flying
parallel to Wapsi Avenue SE north of Lone Tree. The bird cooperated with
our viewing by flying very low, and back & forth across the road for over
a mile, and even landed in a cornfield and started eating something.
Unfortunately did not have my camera, but the husband took some shots with
his Galaxy S III. According to the time signature on the photos, total
viewing time was from 3:59 to 4:17 pm.
