Yesterday at 11:45am I briefly observed an adult Golden Eagle at the boat launch on the north end of Rice Lake State Park (in Lake Mills). It flew above me at a close range with the sun behind me.
Other birds in the state park include an adult Sharp-shinned Hawk and a flock of ~10 female Purple Finches. Good birding!
