On 3/11 I saw my FOY Great Blue Heron flying over the Outback Steakhouse on University, in West Des Moines.
A little later I saw FOY Redwinged blackbird at Gibbsville. On Monday 3/10 I noticed a pair of eastern blue birds scouting my nesting boxes. (Just east of Gibbsville.) Due to my proximity the Des Moines River, I'm constantly hearing geese flying over my house. Does anyone have a suggestion on a great location for goose sounds so I can identify what I'm hearing?
