Today, after work, Rose and I did some birding at George Wyth. The west end has been a hot spot for bird activity lately and today was no different. The biggest surprise was the number of Cape May Warblers. In an hours time we counted 10! In one plum tree there were 4 males. The Surf Scoters were still present. Other notables included: 8 Golden-winged W. 1 Blue-winged W. 1 male Bay-breasted W. 1 Summer Tanager My dad Tom Stone Sr. reports also having a great morning here. Here are some of the notables he saw: 1 Conn. W. 1 Kentucky W. 10 Cape M. W. 1 Blue Grosbeak Caspian Terns and Black Terns
