Tumpangpitu hill and its surroundings are covered by andecitic to dacitic
volcanic, volcaniclastic and sediment. It is intruded by stock and small
batholit, which have granodiorit to diorite composition. Occurrence of
alteration is shown by the presence of chlorite, epidote, aclinolite,
calcite, leucone, and silica. Through this trip, participants will be able
to observe the presence of epithermal and porphyry copper gold at the same
location.
