Position Description:
Responsible for the development of existing fields and near-field exploration including identifying potential drilling locations using all available data (i.e. well bore, seismic, simulation, etc.)
Integration of all subsurface data into field and regional mapping. Data includes formation tops, fault cuts, sequence stratigraphic framework, reservoir architecture and reservoir rock properties.
Generation of structure, fault, isopach and net pay maps
Displays familiarity with project management procedures.
Objectively assess risk and reserve size distributions
Qualifications/ Experience: Previous experience in reservoir and field development activities based on cross-functional team activities
Experience and strong skills in team leadership and as a team member
Bachelors degree or higher in Geosciences with 8-10 years experience
Strong regional geologic insight.
Well-developed workstation skills including 3D seismic interpretation experience
Understanding of Oil and Gas economics including reserves and cost forecasting.
Quick, accurate decision making skills and the ability to perform under pressure of tough deadlines with strong focus on results
Ability to work in a fast paced multi-disciplinary team environment involving partner as well as personnel.
Strong team and communication skills.
