Berapa yg dibutuhkan Indonesia ? Tentunya kurang dari itu karena Shell
mentargetkan utk mampu memproduksi hingga 5 Juta bph dr yg sekarang
3.4 juta bph. Produksi Indonesia ssat ini kan kurang sejuta.
Apakah Indonesia masih bersedia "membiayai" ongkos belajar dan
training orang2 ini ? ... "Eh ..... psssst, masih banyak juga loh yang
ngak 'ngeh' dengan potential "brain drain" dan "oportunity loss" ...

Beberapa pekan lalu Shell memperkirakan harga minyak dunia. 2 dekade
kedepan masih akan tinggi. Jadi masih ada waktu untuk berpikir .. :p

Royal Dutch-Shell seeks oil output jump:-

Anglo-Dutch energy giant Royal Dutch-Shell Group aims to boost crude
oil production by 40 percent in the next decade.
The increase to some 5 million barrels per day from the current 3.5
million barrels per day would make the company the world's top oil
producer, the Independent reported Thursday.
Company officials said they would achieve their ambitious goal through
greater concentration on fields containing more than 100 million
barrels and increased exploitation of unconventional hydrocarbons,
such as gasification, oil sands and oil extracted from very deep
waters.
The company also will appoint chief scientists in 10 key disciplines
such as geology, expand its $553 million research and technology
budget, hire at least 1,000 new exploration and production specialists
and encourage existing staff to remain in their posts for longer
periods rather than changing jobs every two or three years.
