bahasa jawa. di yogya, kemarin2 ini juga teriaknya yo 'lindu', bukan
'gempa', he..he..
kalau pak maryanto, pasti dulu sempat dapat pelajaran 'kerotho boso',
seperti halnya saya waktu masih sekolah dasar, ilmu utk gothak-gathuk bahasa
sampai passss.....

LINDU ("Large Intensity Natural Disaster Underground").
Abstract:
LINDU ("Large Intensity Natural Disaster Underground") is global
earthquake trough the time. SALAM acronyms of "Seven to the n-th power
of ten Annum Long of Age and Minor" cycle (Maryanto, 2003). SALAM theory
indicates high possibility (~90 %) that the earth (beside a day rotation
and a year revolution), travels trough a path of a sum of sinusoidal
functions with period (annum) : 7, 70, 700, ..., 7 G, with its amplitude
is greater for the longer period, and with minor cycles: a year, a
month, a week, a day. The global earthquake number during the last
century has high correlation (~90%) to that cycle. Casualty during the
last 5 years by global earthquake is 91 % in the high tide week (full
moon and new moon weeks) (JT Nordberg, 2005). Aceh's aftershock per day
reflects higher quakes on those weeks. Mount Merapi eruptions in the
last 170 years are 70 % in the high tide week (the three month 2006
eruption evolution could be predicted in a half week error). Space wave
in plate tectonic could be exist in period of about (km): 7, 70, 700,
and 7000 (showing resources globally). Minimizing disaster could be
effective by monitoring greater than 1 M quake by seismometer located
every 70 km along Circum Pacific and Mediterranean.
