Dear Temen-temen IAGI nett-ers, BP Tangguh lagi nyari experienced wellsite geologist untuk development drilling campaign di Vorwata Field.
Background info: Contract Duration : 1 year. Working Roster : 28 hari ON dan 14 hari OFF (Guarranteed). 2 wellsite geologists onboard in almost all hole sections in each well. Job Description: * Similar to routine wellsite geologist roles in the O&G industry (i.e : Integration of cutting description/analysis with other collected data, QC Data Acquisition from vendors (Mudlogging, LWD, Wireline, etc), well to well correlation, advising Drilling Superintendent on the rig in regards to the geohazards/anticipated formation to be drilled, participate in the routine morning meeting, daily updating composite log, casing and coring point determination, communicating with Project Team in Head Office, Daily Geological Reports, etc). * Training less experienced junior geologists during their duty on the rig (if required) Requirement adalah sbb: * Min.Experience of 5 years as Wellsite Geologist. On top of that, at least 5 years of solid Mudlogging and Pressure Engineer experience also required. * Up to date with the current LWD, Wireline and Mudlogging systems/technology. * Previous HPHT wells exposure. * Previous working experience as wellsite geologist in Papua Area would be an advantage. * Fracture prediction from cuttings. * Qualitative Log Interpretation skills. * Proven track record in the industry (i.e : Positive attitude, Good Team Work, Good Communication Skills). * Final Well Report generation. * Active user of GEOLOGIX well composite generation software (Active user for other Well Composite generation software will also be highly considered).
